How to Unlock / Open/Edit password protected pdf (user & owner passwords)

Earlier I wrote a post on  how to unlock /break-edit pdf files .Today am going  to write few more tools to unlock password protected portable document format files.If you forget passwords of your important pdf documents ,you can use these tools to access them for free.

Pdf files can  be protected with two kinds of passwords.It can be  a owner password(where user can open the document but needs password to access restricted features) or user passoword (where a password needed to open the document).Here's the list of tools to unlock/break them for free

1.Ensode free online unlock service

This utility unlocks editing,copying , pasting and printing restrictions of a pdf file.You can download unlocked pdf file to your pc / laptop or you can view online

2.Pdfunlock 




This utility unlocks restrictions and owner password (password to edit,copy,print the contents etc...) instantly.If it is user password (password to view or open the pdf file) you have to provide password to remove the password from pdf file.

  • Unlocks owner password but need password to unlock user password


3.freemypdf

You can use this utility to remove owner passwords and restrictions such as copying,printing and editing..
  •  Max file size -150 MB
  • Free Online Service
  • Unlocks owner password only

 Removes owner password from password protected pdf files and free it from restrictions
  • Max file size -Not mentioned
  • Free Online Service
  • Unlocks owner password only



5.Crackmypdf:  This is another free online owner password remover tool that allows you to copy,edit and print the contents of any password protected adobe pdf file.It supports all versions of adobe upto 9.



6.Free Password Craker

  • Freeware
  • Open source command line utility for Both windows and Linux
  • Cracks both user( password to open adobe pdf files) and owner( password to edit,copy,print contents) passwords


7.Pdf cracker

  • Freeware
  • Open source command line utility for GNU/ Linux
  • Cracks both user and owner passwords

    good post, but don’t forget about the fact that you’re uploading your data to some random person on the Internet. Try an efficient Mac PDF unlocker tool. In a couple of simple clicks it will easily unlock PDF password and remove all restrictions from a document.
